Theresa Cascio joined HPA as an Associate in 2019 after receiving her Master of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. While in school, Theresa focused on sustainability. She worked on community development projects in Berlin and London and built net-zero prefabricated homes in both California and West Texas. Prior to moving to Chicago, she worked for the City of Austin by tracking and implementing LEED goals and the performance of municipal buildings. Her project portfolio at HPA includes Soho House Portland and the multiple-tower Halsted Pointe development by Onni Group.
Theresa is a member of HPA’s Preservation Group. She gains architectural inspiration from the ways in which different countries address preservation, adaptive reuse and art to shape the fabric of their cities.
