James Plunkard will be a featured speaker at the Value Added Commercial Real Estate Investing: Repositioning and Re-Tenanting Commercial Property conference, to be held at the Langham Hotel on Wednesday, August 7, from 7:00-12:00 PM.

Sponsored by the Illinois Real Estate Journal and Midwest Real Estate News, this conference examines market conditions and opportunities in multifamily, student housing and senior housing. In a break-out session entitled Making the Transformation, Jim will offer his perspective on the architectural design of a renovated or re-purposed property,  together with fellow panelists Jon Runquist of Sonoma Construction; Kurt Karnatz of Environmental System Design; and Roger Heerema of Wright Heerema Architects.  The moderator will be Dan Ulbricht of Leopardo Construction.
