Erin James earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a specialization in Architectural History from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Since becoming an HPA associate in 2022, Erin has contributed to the development of mixed-use and residential projects, such as Nashville Warehouse Co. and Wedgewood- Houston.

Erin is a member of HPA’s Preservation Group. She is interested in the implementation of adaptive reuse and preservation across different regions and time periods
