Brandon Owens received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His thesis focused on understanding the role in which memory and the human senses can inform architecture.

With prior internship experience at HPA, Brandon returned to the firm in 2022 as an associate, a role in which he contributes to all aspects of project delivery. Currently, he is focused on the North Union Project in Chicago as well as the Caretta project in Juno Beach, Florida. As a member of the Preservation Group, he takes great interest in understanding how past works of architecture continue to inform the design decisions of HPA’s current projects.
