Janice Jones is a Senior Associate whose experience ranges from adaptive use of historic buildings such as 226 W. Jackson, to the ultra-luxurious No. 9 Walton high-rise where she cultivated the finer details of the project. At HPA, Janice strives to meet the client’s goals at every scale of the design.
Janice holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where her thesis focused on finding uncanny spaces in architecture. She was a top five finalist for the prestigious Pella Prize, the premier honor for thesis design work at Virginia Tech.
Janice enjoys sourcing vintage furniture, art, and artifacts throughout Chicago, and serves as a guest critic for Virginia Tech’s Chicago Studio semester-long architecture program.
