Mariana Carvalho received her Masters of Architecture from Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. Her thesis focused on artificial intelligence as a mechanism for design.
Bringing her diverse background and experience as a Senior Associate at HPA, Mariana works on all phases of project delivery. Her project experience includes Chicago’s North Union development and Hotel 1928 in Waco, Texas, which draws on her interest in historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects. She is a member of HPA’s Technical Services Group, and is currently pursuing her architecture licensure.
