Kellen Plutowski is a Project Architect at HPA and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He began his architectural experience in Las Vegas, where he designed hotels, resorts, and casinos in Florida, California, and Nevada before moving to Chicago to focus on high-end, multi-family residential projects. Kellen enjoys thinking about how people can interact and experience the spaces and buildings in which they occupy and strategizing how to create a building that functions well for its users. Bringing his well-rounded experience to HPA, he has been involved in the 3100 Wilshire project in Los Angeles, and 1010 SE Ash St. in Portland.
Kellen received his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University. His graduate studies and research focused on present-day architectural theory, the civic realm, and architecture’s ability to influence and engage the public through inclusive design.
